Teaching Position In Mathematics

Teachers of mathematics work in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. They teach their kids mathematical courses, which may include preparing them for standardized assessments and college admission exams. Teachers of mathematics can receive training in a variety of ways. Some have bachelor's degrees with a focus on mathematics. Others have a bachelor's degree in mathematics and have also completed a teacher education program. All public school math teachers must complete their state's certification or licensure standards, which typically include competency exams.

Who You are

Bachelor's degree in education or mathematics with teacher education courses is required. It is preferred that you have a master's degree.

Grade Level: 6th-12th Class : At least three (3) years of experience as a high school teacher

Additional Requirements: In the United States, a teaching certificate is required (requires the certification test in the academic area)

Evidence of Effective Classroom Management

Exceptional Children (Gifted and/or Special Needs) Teaching Experience

Salary depends on degree level and years of experience for fluent English speakers.
